01 Primary logo

The Squad22 logo represents the brand at its highest level and appears in all formal and institutional communication.

Color combinations

On nocturne, night blue and signal blue, use the white version with the '22 in turquoise.

On white and paper, the '22 turns rose: turquoise has no contrast on light backgrounds.

On turquoise, the logo never uses white: squad in nocturne and '22 in signal blue (5.2:1).

On rose, squad in nocturne and '22 in white.

In a blue piece on a light background, use squad in ink and '22 in signal blue (6.3:1).

01 Clear space / minimum sizes

Always leave clear space around the logo. The clear space equals the height of the '22, applied on all four sides.

Minimum size: 80 px wide in digital and 25 mm in print.

01 Logo position in layouts

The logo can sit in any of the four corners, depending on the layout. In posts it sits in the top left corner, aligned to the margin.

To keep spacing consistent, align the logo to the layout grid.

Whenever possible, the main text starts on the same margin as the logo.

01 Application example

When placing the logo over a photo, use the white version and put it in the darkest corner of the image.

Avoid corners with a lot of detail. Pick a spot where the logo reads clean.

01 How not to use

01 Lockups

Squad22 has service lines and programs that sometimes need their own lockup. They all come from the primary logo, always with the same design.

Use lockups sparingly. If the piece already has the logo, the service name in the copy is usually enough.

Talk to Alex before creating one. A lockup only exists when the service has its own page, name and life.

Lockup rules

· Use only the versions in this guide.
· Don't redraw, don't change the color of the '22 and don't change the name's typeface.
· The service name always sits on the right, separated by a rule.

01 Co-branding

Co-branding is any piece where the Squad22 logo appears next to a client's or partner's logo, such as case studies, joint proposals and events.

Same height: both logos at the same visual height, separated by a rule, with each one's clear space respected.

Different heights: when one logo is wider, align by visual weight rather than exact measurements.

Stacked: if space is narrow, the partner logo can go below, at the same visual width.

01 Avatar and icon

Squad22 never uses the '22 on its own. For social avatars, app icons and favicons, always use the full logo, centered: 80% of the width in a square and 70% in a circle.

Below 64 px, prefer the nocturne background: the contrast keeps the logo legible.

For social avatars, upload a square with straight corners and let the platform crop it.
